The Waves of Change Festival is an annual celebration of the big blue to inspire love, care and action for the ocean!

Featuring thought provoking art, a selection of stunning films, and talks by experts in their field, visitors of all ages will enjoy this safe space to learn, reflect and explore opportunities for change. From 5 to 27 August, we invite everyone to join us in finding out more about the ocean’s amazing marine life and hearing from inspiring young people working in this space.

Our story

The ‘Waves of Change Festival’, along with its travelling edition ‘WOC on Wheels’, is a series of ocean events organised to raise ocean awareness and create a safe space for meaningful exchanges. Presented by Coastal Natives and Artwave Studio, in proud collaboration with incredible partners including ArtScience Museum, we hope you’ll join us to learn about the wonders and plight of the ocean, as well as what we can do to change for the better. We’re always on the lookout for like-minded ocean collaborators to join the WOC mission. If you would like to get in touch to host a talk or submit a film or body of work, please send us your details using the contact page and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
